In our sessions, you can expect a safe, collaborative, and affirming space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I bring a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, blending evidence-based therapies (like CBT, DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing) with somatic and nervous system grounding practices. Together, we’ll work to build resilience, reconnect with your body, and find practical tools for navigating stress, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered in your healing journey.
As a therapist, I hold space for clients to bring their full identities without fear of judgment. I am also a third culture kid, having spent part of my middle school years in Norway, which shaped my worldview and appreciation for diverse perspectives. In my early twenties, I spent six years as a global volunteer, experiences that deepened my compassion for people across cultures and ultimately led me to pursue a career as a therapist. My heart is especially with those exploring identity, relationships, LGBTQIA+, sex-positivity, and healing from trauma. I bring warmth, creativity, and a strengths-based/trauma-focused lens to my work, holding the belief that you already carry the capacity for growth and change within you.
I love working with youth, adolescents, and young adults, but I am also adept at supporting clients across the lifespan, from ages 13 to 85. My professional experience includes serving as a school social worker in Douglas County, Colorado, and working in both community mental health and private practice settings in North Carolina. I also hold a background in theatre, which enriches the creativity, presence, and openness I bring to therapy. My approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, internal family systems informed, and somatic grounding practices. Outside of therapy, I value creativity and community, and I bring that energy into the therapeutic space.
