The challenges presented by our life experiences can be a lot to manage, especially when you feel like no one is in your corner. As a person-centered practitioner, my goal isn’t to change who you are, and together we will come into a deeper connection with the person you want to be and what you want life to look like for you. Using Acceptance and Commitment informed tools and existential philosophy, we will work together to reorient your perception of your circumstances and create individualized and actionable steps towards becoming the person you want to be.
If you are experiencing challenging relationships, identity barriers, decision paralysis, or are simply looking for a way to reflect on your feelings with deeper insight, we will be able to work together to add new tools to your daily efforts and to engage the world in new ways.
My collaborative approach will leave you feeling like you have control over the direction of our work and of your life. I bring an easy-going and positive approach, and, when necessary, I use our connection to hold you accountable and responsible for the changes you want to make. We can take our work together in whatever direction you want, and I am happy to learn new methods to accommodate your needs. Also, know that I will keep the work we do intentionally focused on your personal goals for yourself.
Our work begins with an understanding of unique challenges you face, why they are important and how to move forward with them. Blending Acceptance and Commitment therapy, values work, emotional processing, and mindfulness, we can bring ourselves in contact with the self you are meant to be. Then, the real fun starts as we begin the work of acting towards aligning with that true self.
My work is adaptable to individuals of all ages, on the neurodivergent spectrum, and of various backgrounds and cultures.
