In addition to my 14 years of professional experience in mental health, I am a neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ identifying clinician who has navigated a mood disorder and CPTSD throughout my life and career. The combination of my personal and professional experiences allows me to bring a deep level of understanding to my work and to what is needed to support meaningful, lasting change. I have extensive experience in crisis intervention and feel confident supporting clients through some of their most difficult moments. I also bring authenticity into sessions, as I am very much not a “blank slate” therapist! Additionally, social justice is central to who I am as a clinician. I actively engage in advocacy work supporting LGBTQIA+ communities, immigrants, and women’s rights, and I bring this lens into my practice every day. I believe therapy should honor each person’s dignity, lived experience, and right to self-determination. My work is rooted in creating a space where clients feel seen, affirmed, and empowered.
