Heyo! I’m Ally (they/them)
If your brain feels like it’s running 87 tabs at once – one screaming anxiety, another replaying that conversation from three years ago, a few worrying about everyone else, and one convinced you’re somehow falling behind – you’ve found the right place. When you’ve spent so long in survival mode, it can be hard to remember what it feels like to actually be IN your body.
I earned my Master’s of Social Work from the University of South Florida, where I developed a strong foundation in trauma informed, affirming care. I work with LGBTQIA+ folx who are navigating complex and developmental trauma, anxiety, gender transition, dissociation, chronic suicidal thoughts, people-pleasing, and the exhausting reality of trying to exist in a world that often isn’t built for them. Whether you’re unpacking years of survival mode or trying to reconnect with yourself after feeling disconnected for a long time, therapy can be a place to finally just be.
Brainspotting is the primary approach I use because trauma isn’t just something we think about – it lives in our nervous systems. Sometimes talking and intellectualizing alone isn’t enough. Together, we’ll help your brain and body process what’s been keeping you stuck so you can move toward feeling calmer, more connected, and more like yourself.
As a queer, trans, non-binary therapist I know how meaningful it can be to have a space where you don’t have to explain or defend who you are. My goal is to create a relationship where you feel genuinely seen, challenged with compassion, and accepted exactly as you are.
Outside of therapy, I’m usually hanging out with my family, loving on my three fur babies, or rewatching Bob’s Burgers for the hundredth time.
I believe healing doesn’t have to be humorless. Sometimes laughter is part of how we survive – and how we heal.
You don’t have to have the perfect words or a crisis to deserve support. You just have to show up. We’ll figure out the rest together.
