 Therapy with me is thoughtful, collaborative, and emotionally attuned. We’ll slow things down enough to understand what’s happening beneath the surface—your patterns, protective strategies, relational dynamics, and the parts of you that feel stuck or overwhelmed. I pay close attention to attachment, trauma responses, and the ways your history shows up in the present. Our work balances reflection and practical movement, helping you build insight while also finding new, sustainable ways of responding to your life and relationships. 

 I am a deeply relational therapist who integrates attachment-based, psychodynamic, and parts-oriented work. I don’t see symptoms in isolation—I see them as intelligent adaptations to your lived experience. I am LGBTQIA+ and non-monogamy affirming, and I actively consider the social and cultural contexts shaping your story. I aim to create a space where strength and vulnerability can coexist, where we can name hard truths with compassion, and where growth feels both grounded and expansive. 

 I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationships, identity exploration, neurodivergence, trauma, and major life transitions. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your goals, with space for both emotional processing and practical tools. Bean, my 20 lb. therapy dog-in-training, may occasionally join sessions if you’re comfortable—he’s calm, well-mannered, and always optional.

I currently have immediate availability for seeing clients in-person in Asheville, North Carolina and offer telehealth also in North Carolina.

I accept BCBS, Aetna, Aetna State Health Plan, MedCost, Cigna, and United Healthcare. I have a private pay rate of $150 for individuals and $175 for couples. Sliding scale rates are available if needed. Please reach out if you face a financial barrier beyond what is mentioned here.
