In our work together, you can expect to be truly seen, heard, and understood in a space grounded in compassion, warmth, and genuine curiosity. Therapy with me is a collaborative process—we’ll gently explore what arises, uncover the insights and patterns shaping your experiences, and identify ways to step beyond them through awareness and practical tools. My goal is for you to feel valued, supported, and empowered, so you can create a more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling life
As both a master’s-prepared nurse educator and psychotherapist, I approach the human experience through many doors — body, mind, soul, and spirit. This integrative lens allows me to meet you exactly where you are, honoring the wisdom of your whole being as we work together toward healing, balance, and wholeness.
My role is not to lead from the front, but to walk beside you — helping you grow, find stability during transitions, and discover peace amid life’s competing demands. Together, we cultivate a space where you can release what no longer serves you, reconnect with your energy, clarify your path, and strengthen your sense of self.
I have supported trauma survivors, individuals in addiction recovery, and those navigating oppression or seeking deeper authenticity and wholeness. I am passionate about people, their families, and the unique narratives that shape them. With a love for both learning and teaching, I honor the full range of the human experience—its beauty and joy, its sorrow and mystery, and the wisdom that emerges along the way.
To best support your needs, I integrate a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. My work is grounded in a strengths-based, person-centered philosophy, and sessions typically last 50 to 55 minutes.
I hold a Master of Science in Social Work from Widener University and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Sacred Heart University. I am licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and Registered Nurse (RN).
In addition to my graduate training, I completed a Trauma Specialization Certificate at Widener University in 2022. I am also a Healing Touch Practitioner, a Certified Holistic Nurse through the American Holistic Nurses Association, and a Certified Hypnotherapist through the National Guild of Hypnotists.
I have immediate availability to work with clients via telehealth in North Carolina, and in-person in Asheville, NC. I accept private pay and most major insurance carriers.
